Bless & encourage your daughter to fly high with all her confidence and resilience, sky shall be hers. Issue is not what you aspire but what she desires. Let her tell you without inhibition what her goals are. The challenges she faces because of her aspirations & continuous struggle, thereof force her to make choices which might shape her life. A normal care giving & stable upbringing will help her handle the reality of life in a non-judgmental way. Parents need to keep in check their acts/behavior that symbolizes partiality towards the son and indifference towards the daughter to let her mold her future prospects. She is in no way indifferent from son. Despite our culture of praying Goddess, most of the individuals consider daughter to be a burden and liability. The reason behind this attitude is the curse and not the gender. The unwarranted controls & restrictions in her upbringing lead to suppression of feelings & emotions. These pent up emotions whenever erupt, results in devastating repercussions for the individual.

One must be aware that he/she is ultimately responsible for their actions & consequential pain and humiliation. Like self for whom you are and have faith in what you do without offending other’s sentiments.

Lack of self-control of the racing thoughts makes one react impulsively and adds to stress, aggression & pain. Patience with self, people & situations, trusting everything, rather than impatience expecting instant gratification, brings peace, confidence, compassion, acceptance, respect & dignity to our handling of life in the middle of challenges. Impatience makes one exhibit different levels of irritation, anger, anxiety, fear, doubt or judgment thereby looses the power to tolerate, adjust or accept. The mind tries to control things which it cannot and becomes restless. The turbulence in mind affects mental health.
